About Maureen

Maureen Manning is an Acupuncturist and Herbalist practicing in Monterey since 2003. She is a family practitioner specializing in pain relief and women's physical and emotional health.

Her approach is influenced by Chinese and Japanese acupuncture and orthopedics.

Trained in Obstetrics and Gynecology, Maureen has many years of experience working with pregnant women. She teaches infant massage, and is on the steering committee of the Birth Network of Monterey County and is a member of the Holistic Pediatric Association.

Maureen earned her Master's Degree at Five Branches University,  California Graduate School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, in Santa Cruz, Ca. and began her studies in Chinese Medicine in Brisbane, Australia. She is licensed by the California Acupuncture Board and the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

Combining gentle effective acupuncture, skillful hands and deep listening in each treatment, Maureen's goal is to support you on your journey to vitality, balance and healing.
